Bipolar pain management and AHDA HELP ME PLEASE!?

Any one with any of these things understand its a constant battle. My boyfriend has all 3. He was hit by a car at age 9. He was ruled dead twice. Because of that he has many problems. Including pinched nerves in neck and back, shifted hips at the time bruised kidneys and a revers carve to his spine. He also fell 13 ft off a ladder on to a cement floor in 2005. He broke his leg. He has many issues with pain because of that. Already having 2 surgeries on this knee.
Also dealing with the bipolar and the ADHD. And the problems that come with both of those. Depression, mood swings, large amounts of mental pain just to name a few. The price of meds is just crazy! And what the pills do to your body is even worse some times.
I should add my boyfriend is only 23 years old.

My goal is to find something herbal to help him with these issues. Taken pills that don't work, make your sick and cost hundreds isn't working. The bipolar is causing him to lose almost all hope at times. He has attempted suicide at few times. He is extremely hard working (60+ hours a week) most people who have his problems don't do that.
If any one has any ideas to help I'm open for anything. I'm just begging for help.

The only thing my boyfriend currently take is adderal xr nothing for pain or for the bipolar. For about 2 years that worked great but isn't as of now.

I have both bipolar and adhd, and have been involved in mental health networks for the past 10 years... i am also 23 yr old male- and have been on 10-30 different meds. I am currently prescribed to none. Im my honest opinion.. something that helps with mood control- helps with my adhd the nexy day- and would help with mild to moderate pain as well as spasms.. Marijuana. Now, him being a 23 yr old male this isnt to drastic of a suggestion.. but this isnt your 15 yr olds weed. At this point in my life I am much more mature- and treat this substance with respect.. I would be filled with anger- or anxiety.. take a couple hits- and it centers u.. after smoking a bowl or half a joint- everything that has been thrown around in my brain by adhd or bipolar is calmly set back down- im able to analyze situations.. collect my self and make more educated desisions..

for first time smokers.. warm urself up to the idea- like for me I only smoke at night, never before work, and on my off days.. the only times.. so sit down at night and get urself a cheap glass pipe at yur local head shop.. smoke a bowl.. get used to the idea, and get used to functioning on marijuana..

i swear by it... u can ask my girlfriend!!
