38 Weeks, Sick, pain in pelvic area, not sleeping at all,leg goes numb, back pain on right side ? |
What is going on with me? I am asking you all before i call my midwife? Please advise?? CASTOR Oil is what i am thinking abouy right now! What do you think you sound like me, I am 38 weeks as well, it means the end is near! legs are going numb from the increased volume of blood in your body, putting pressure on your circulation, pain in pelvic area is the baby getting into position, not sleeping probably just cause you are uncomfortable, back pain baby might be posterior.. I also have night sweats, and am nauseous ! My guess would be that the baby dropped and is pressing against a nerve - making you numb and uncomfortable. The pelvic pain is probably just your bones softening and spreading, making way for the baby. All that combined is enough to make someone sick! I had the worst time in my last few weeks - all of which you mentioned. Hang in there and I hope it is soon for you! Hi. Its your body getting ready for the main event...I feel that way now at 35 weeks. Call teh midwife, but I don't think that there is anything that can be done...short of inducing your labour if its that bad. I had most of these same problems and they turned out to be just normal discomfort of pregnacy. You should talk to your midwife just to make sure though. It sounds similar to the pains I experienced with my last pregnancy...i had and still do have a separated pelvic bone. Uh........sounds like late pregnancy to me. These are all common things to experience at the end. If you are concerned, contact your doctor or midwife. you could well be in labour if your at all concerned ring your midwife. Yeah, doesnt sound good. Go to your midwife or doctor. ASAP! |
