I ovulated yesterday according to my LH test strips. I'm having sharp pelvic pains today. What could this be?

We are TTC and through using the LH strips I found that i was ovulating and we utilized that opportunity to get PG. Yesterday I was feeling fine no symptoms at all. Now, today I an having very sharp pains in the left side pelvic area that extend down into my vagina. Could this be implantation? The egg being released from the follicle? Or whatever else? Also how long should I wait to take a HPT?
PLEASE ONLY ANSWER IF YOU ARE KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THIS PROCESS!

Most ovulation test detects LH in your urine which means ovulation is approaching. When your LH strips detected that you were ovultaed that means that in the next 24 to 48 hours is your most fertile days. Usually when you are having those symptoms it means that you are ovulating today and you shoud definitely have sex today....Also, your cervix mucus should be a egg white substance and if you have it on your index finger and thumb it should stretch like slob. And another way to tell is if you are sitting on the toilet and you stick your index or middle finger in our vagina and your cervix is hard to reach than you're ovulating. I know its nasty but hey thats what woman go through to conceive. I think by your info given that you be having intercourse yesterday, today and tomorrow....Baby Dust

not implantation, the OPK's tell you you are about to ovulate, not that you have, so the pains would be consistent with ovulation pains if you tested a day earlier. a + on an OPK means you will ovulate within 12-36 hours
