Is there a cure for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)?

and what are common symptoms have you or anyone you know have this and how do you deal with it?

There is no cure for PCOS. Doctors treat the syndrome by treating the symptoms. Not everyone experiences the same symptoms, these can include:

Irregular periods
Weight gain
Acne
Dandruff
Infertility
Increased blood pressure
Increased cholesterol

Birth control pills are often used to regulate the mentral cycle and acne. Diuretics, (water pills), are also used to alleviate symptoms of blood pressure increases and weight gain. Basically, any symptoms that arise can be treated effectively with medications that are now available.

I don't know that there's a 'cure', but it is treatable. I don't remember all the symptoms, but some of them are: irregular periods, difficulty conceiving/infertility, difficulty losing weight... there are others, but they're escaping me now. Do a google search, I'm sure there are several websites dedicated specifically to this subject.

There really isn't a cure, but there are medicines you can take for it. My mother has struggled with it since she was 13.
