Is Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) caused by lifestyle & diet ? Can it be reduced from diet changes ? No it is not caused by lifestyle, as far as I can find out it you are born with it. However a good heart healthy diabetic type diet helps offset some of the diseases it can cause and keep you feeling better longer. PCOS is hereditary, no cant be changed by diet, yes you need to diet tho because it causes diabetes, high blood pressure, and many other health problems. I was just diagnosed with it, I have a website on PCOS feel free to go look at it and you can email me if you want to talk about it. PCOSCystas.synthasite.com The incidence of PCOS is more among diabetics and obese. But reducing weight and controlling diabetes do not alter the course of the disease |
