I think i may have Polycystic Ovary Syndrome please help :(? |
I have been reading up about Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and i have noticed i have some of symptoms such as excess dark hair growth, irregular periods and my auntie had this so maybe it can run in the family? First of all it's extremely unlikely that you would have PCOS at your age, it happens on average between 5 and 10% in young women, it is not uncommon having recently gone through puberty to have irregular periods. Don;t be embarrased to go to the doctor. They have dealt with much more embarrasing situations than this before! If you think you may have POS it is very important to go and get it checked out. At the least it will put your mind at rest. You should go before you leave it too late. what, how are you ever going to know if you dont go to the doctors and test you, my friend has polycystic ovary's and she needs medication and so do you.. there's nothink to be embarrest of that book an appointment with a different doctor or female nurse. the best thing to do is go to the doc. he will be able to help with this. maybee go to a doctor u dont know |
