PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) and having normal mentruation? |
I'm 22 and I'm thinking about going to the doctor because I was looking into why I might be infertile (unprotected sex for 4 years regularly) and discovered PCOS. I suffer from many of the symtoms (severe acne, apple shaped, in the past year i noticed my facial hair is getting ridiculously noticable and I've begun having ovary pain that sometimes doubles me over, depression which i've always had, dark lines on neck, hairy body parts, ect) and I have a family history of diabetes on my dad's side. Hi, One of the symptoms of PCOS is infrequent or irregular periods, but it not everyone has this symptom. So it is perfectly normal for you to have regular periods with PCOS. I'll give you a link to a website that has some good information about PCOS. :( im gonna pray for you. |
