How soon after unprotected sex can you take a pregnancy test?

how soon would a result show up?i'm on the pill but on the 1st day i took it i had sex,got the morning after pill though but i'd like to double check

i am on cerezette which means i might not get a period as i dont stop taking my pill...?

After you miss your next period, some tests allow up to 5 days before that, but they may not be as accurate for some women. If you dont know when to expect your next period or dont get a period wait about 21 days, however waiting 28 days will allow for more accuracy.

It takes well more than a couple of days or hours to show up. Your body needs to be producing high enough levels of hgh for the tests to register.

usually a few days after your missed period, but there are some test that you can use 4 days before your expected period...you shouldn't have a problem, I always have sex on the first day of a new pack, but if it's your first month I think you have a greater chance, I think it takes a bit for the pill to be fully effective when you first go on it

the pill doesnt work for the first MONTH!! Good thing you took Plan B-its really good. idk-i would wait until after 3 weeks. I would change pills, becuase I have heard of women who got on pills like tht and were 3-5 months preggo and never knew it until something happened. but wait at lesat 3 weeks if not 4 weeks and test. best of luck.

Well you can take it as soon as you want, but you'll get the most accurate results after a couple of days.

depending on the pregnancy test, it can be 2 weeks after sex

It will not show up right away.. Wait a few weeks.
