Can a pregnancy test show as negative but really be positive? |
If your periods were due about one or two days ago? If I get tested negative, is it too early to tell? If pregnancy test is not administered properly, it can give a false negative. However, if you are less than two weeks late, I would not sweat it. What a week and if your time still has not come, make a dr. appointment. Maybe your just late on your period try waiting a week or two and then do another pregnancy test. A test could give you a false negative but if it ever comes out positive than your pregnant. You can never have a false positive because a pregnancy test detects the pregnancy hormones once it is positive it means you have those but if it comes out negative it could either be your not pregnant or your body just hasn't gotten the level of hormones yet that are needed to make the test positive. First, the sperm gotta travel to the egg. That takes about a day. Then the embryos gotta get to your womb. that takes about, i dunno, 3-4 days? Then the embryo releases a chemical telling your body "I'm here! don't kill me!" so that your body doesn't kill it like a foreign invader. That chemical is so strong that it comes out in your piss, and if the chemical is present, the pregnancy test will be positive. firstly do 3 tests to be sure. most pregnancy tests can see if your pregnant, 5 days before your missed period. so if you took it after your period was due and came out negative, you're most likely not pregnant. but do another test, just to be sure. It's possible for it to test a false negative, but is more rare than a false positive. Take another test or two, if it still shows negative, then it's probably not false. Of course! Every woman is different. My aunt took many pregnancy tests and they all showed negative, and 9 months later she had a baby girl. So yes, you could be pregnant. Go get a test done at a facility. Yes it can be negative. Be sure to do one again about 5 days after your period to know for sure Yes, that can happen. Try taking the test a week or so after the day your period would have started. some of the older ones very often would/could, but if u get a newer version that cost a bit more they r usually right yes. wait a while or take another one. after a few weeks then you should go to a doctor Depends when you took the test, if you took strait after then it wont give you a straght answer. probably too early i would wait about 5 days or so. then take one and it can show up negative and really be positive is there a baby hiding somewhere Im sure it could Just take the test a few more times. If they're all negitive then you're not pregnant. darrel w is a fa got yes ma'am it happens a lot |
