Is it possible toget prego.....if any one has low lebel of Progesterone hormon?

I have PCOS ,,,,,One year back got miscarriage ......on 21st day of my last period I did a progesterone test...it shows 1.37m/g which should be 1.5m....my last period was28th july.....no period yet.....what should i do now..Is it sounds positive? ......please give good advice...Dr's please help me

Yes it is very possible. Of course progesterone can increase fertility but you can still get pregnant even with low levels and PCOS. It is extremely important though if you are pregnant and have low levels to talk to your doctor. Low progesterone can cause miscarriages. Your doctor can either prescribe you progesterone tablets or there is progesterone creams you can use to raise your levels.

Its hard to say right now though if its positive because PCOS can also cause irregular cycles. The only sure way to find out is to take a test either a HPT or have a blood test done which can test levels sooner. It is best to find out sooner rather than later especially since you already know you have low progesterone levels. If you google progesterone cream and pregnancy you can find several sites that explain the importance of this and what you can do. It might also not be a bad idea to try it to help boost your fertility if you aren't pregnant this time. You can get it just about anywhere.

I wish you the best of luck I know how heartbreaking it can be to want it so bad and feeling like it will never happen for you. I have been there but the cream I believe is what finally done it for me. I also have PCOS and low progesterone that led to a miscarriage.

Below is a site that can help explain but there are many out there.

Sure, you can get pregnant with PCOS and low progesterone. It's usually more difficult to get pregnant with these two factors, but it's definitely possible. PCOS generally keeps women from ovulating regularly (which can result in irregular menstrual cycles) and progesterone is important for maintaining a pregnancy.

I got pregnant ...they found out I had low progesterone so they gave me progesterone to take for the first 3 months. I'm now 5 months pregnant..and everything is great.

Yes! As long as the hormones are healthy!
