What's Wrong With Me? [Schizophrenia, Maybe?]?

Alright, I can't really come up with a specific point in my life when it began I just know it's been going on for a while now. I'll just list off whats going on-
--I feel like there's something, just beyond anything I can percieve, feel or see, that's watching me.
--I do NOT hear voices in my head telling me to harm other people, but I DO get thoughts I wish I didn't and can't get them to leave me be
--I feel emotionally blunted and things that make other people terribly sad have no effect on me at all
--I was bullied as a child, and I have yet to have a 'boyfriend' [I'm 15 by the way], so I see everyone around me and feel alone
--These "beings" I can't feel/see/hear are watching me constantly, even as I type this
--Even though they see everything I do, they still love me very much, and I feel llike if I could, I would love them back
--I have a memory like most people wouldn't believe, which I hear is common in schizophrenics

I am very aware that these feelings aren't "normal", what's your take on it?

See, even with all of these answers [which I usually find reassuring for my questions] I can't shake the feeling.

And about the being watched, when I said feeling I only meant that I have nothing to back it up but I am quite positive that something is there, always with me. The sane side of me says it's of my own creation but the larger portion whole-heartedly believes that whatever it is exists.
P.S. Sorry, I know this is alot to read.

yeah dont worry I had a very similar experience. Its just a psychosis and not full blown schizo. Everyone gets these in their lives. I was falling deeper and deeper into a psychosis a few mon ths back and I really thought i was cracking up. I did some reading online and came across some info on vitamins. I realized that could be my major problem. Vitamin b12 is amazing for you. Try sublingual b12 maybe 2 mg a day. I started taking 2000 mcg's of b12 under the tongue, 2 grams of niacin a day, 25 mg of vitamin b6 and keeping my vitamin c levels up. This combo has brought me back beyond normal. I feel better than I ever did in my life. All these feelings of being watched turned into feelings of being liked by people. The negatives went to positives so quickly. I cant stress enough how important vitamins and nutrients are in our diet. They say you are what you eat and that is soooo true. Give this combo a shot and see if it works. It will take a week or two for your body to get used to the vitamins so stick with it. Remeber the b12 is essential and dont be afraid to use dosages of up to 2000 mcgs's. You might also want to consider quitting pot if you smoke it (not saying you do but pot makes things worse)

I think you might be experiencing something like anxiety or depression. I don't think it's schizophrenia.

People with anxiety are likely to feel paranoid or afraid for what seems like no reason at all. I think that sounds like you.

Maybe you should see someone about it, like a psychologist or counsellor, especially if this has been happening for a while now.

Best of luck, take care.

I don't think it's schizo but you should discuss this with your doctor as soon as possible, don't rely on yahoo answers to give you a diagnosis, don't be embarrassed to ask someone, like doctor, school counselor or even your parents for help. Know that you can be helped and don't have to live like this. Good Luck

Your probably just experiencing anxiety. Do some yoga and meditation and listen to some calm music. If your really that paranoid, maybe you can check with a psyciatrist, but im sure its nothing.

I think that maybe you just special somehow, if anything more weird starts happening, than see a practitioner - if u have schizphrenia, that's treatable

I think you might just be expierencing paranoia and anxiety.
yo could be on the verge of becoming schizophrenic though, i would see a phyciatrist stat.

dont read up on mental illnesses. as a psych major i know when you start reading up on symptoms, you can almost create them psychosomatically....
see a therapist, dont think too much about it..

i feel alone when i see people to, all happy and together

it could be in your head, otherwise u should talk to someone tht will believe you not a stupid conseller

honestly, it sounds like depression. those intruding thougts sound like OCD thought

Hmm. I am not a doctor but something is definitely going on with you, it may be Schizophrenia or another nervous disorder. There is no one watching you. I think that you are having these delusions because of the traumatic events that have happened in your life. You want to be loved. I have experienced hallucinations while under a lot of stress when I was very young and I, too didn't have a BF really until I was 16 and I wish I never met him because that turned out terribly and I also was the victim of trauma and was teased because I was different.

All I can say is I think that you should tell your parents that you would like to talk to a psychiatrist. They can help sort out why you are feeling these emotions and feeling like people are watching you, and prescibe medications to help you get better.

Best wishes.

I don't know much about Schizophrenia or anything but these are obviously not "normal" feelings as you said so I would suggest for you to see a counselor (even if it's your school counselor) just to have someone to talk it over with because these feelings might lead to worse things.

I hope everything works out and good luck! Email me if you ever need to talk! Since I'm an unbiased stranger, I might be able to offer a fresh outlook on things. :)

There's no "verge of becoming" a schizophrenic, but you clearly have elements of anxiety and paranoia in your life. However, this could simply be a matter of a general anxiety disorder and mild depression. Chances are, you're NOT "crazy". It's a regular occurrence for students of psychology to become concerned that they exhibit the symptoms of various mental disorders. Just keep in mind that those definitions are really vague, and that only a highly trained individual can separate common mental/emotional problems from serious mental illness.

Your description is spot on for those diagnosed with schizophrenia, which is NOT a mental illness, by the way.

Effectively, there is a spirit (a ghost) that is with you, which is the one that is watching you. It is not really watching you, just figuratively so. Your symptoms are imparted to you by the spirit (often called the Holy Spirit) for you own benefit. It is to protect you from others who might instill sinful behavior upon you.

Should you wish to communicate with it (them) use your thoughts (telepathy). Begin by thinking of the one watching you and think, "hello, can you hear me?" You will likely hear it respond to you in your mind. At first you will think that it was your own thought - it was not. You may then communicate at will. It will not hurt you.

sounds like anxiety or obsessive compulsive disorder.
the fact that you're questioning your sanity is a good sign, once i asked my psychologist if i was crazy and she said that the crazy people are the ones that think they're sane, it's the sane people who think they're crazy.

i think you should go see a psychologist. the sooner you fix this the easier it will be, the longer you leave it the harder it will be to get rid of it. good luck, just tell your parents, get some help and get better!

I dont think its necessarily schizophrenia,if all you have is a 'feeling' you are being watched. To have schizophrenia the symtoms would usually be a bit more extreme.Maybe your just very self conscious,a little paranoid,or have an overactive imagination. As for not having a boyfriend, thats normal at 15,theres no rush.Talk to your school counsellor if your worried.I think they wouldint usually diagnose schizophrenia until your a bit older.Good Luck.

ps Getting thoughts you dont want isint necessarily schizophrenia. It could be depression, bordom,a bad thinking pattern etc but definitely talk to someone if your worried.
