How do people inherit Alcholism and Schizophrenia?

Anyway you can help me?

It's called genes they both are diseases of the mind ,and it can skip a generation or two.Look at your family tree ,it can come from one or both sides of family.Alcoholism is a mental illness drinking is just a symptom of Alcoholism i think they named it wrong but back in the 1930's they really didn't know what to call it.Two guys Dr Bob and Bill W got together and found a solution but first you have to quit drinking to deal with the Mental defect. Both are treatable. AA works best for Alcoholics and Meds for the Schizo. Hope its not you but your can live a normal life with treatment for both. Good Luck email me if you want more info
