Who came up with the dopamine hypothesis of schizophrenia?

and please provide a link if you can

Philip Seeman in 1975. It's part of the medical or disease model. A better model is the social model.

i know that they have figured out what area of the brain cause's hallucination's and voice's so to speak, they did alot of testing on what area's were effected by lsd etc, and brainscan's cat scans and were able to pinpoint those area;s that re-acted so to speak, all i know is i am schizophrenic and the medication i take helps me alot i no longer hear voice's or have vision's and all that was a horrible way to live, so whoever did i say thank you to them so much for giving me a life not just surviving and being afraid all the time

idk some nob who he thinks he knows something, funny how when ur admitted to a hospital they don't do a brain scan or blood test to check dopamine levels and just label it as an imbalance lol, so in other words it's just a theory with the typical amount of psychiatric evidence, very little.

Anti-Doctors.

The real answer....

I was bipolar a year ago. I was given medicine that caused me to have psychosis. Then medication that caused brain damage.

I quit using their medication and

A year later...i have no symptoms of being bipolar..

Philip Seeman, link provided below :-)
