What is scleroderma and how serious can it be?

it can affect the skin or all of the mucous membranes inside of the body.The skin becomes tight and worsens the persons mobility.
i know a lady( my neighbour) and she had this illness for years.
she died last year.
you have to google this, to find all the symptoms,and how slow is this illness(the lady lived with this for many many years)
I don't want to scare you,it is a serious disease.
