Sinusitis and ear pain/popping sensations?

What is the connection, if someone may be so kind as to explain this to me? Thank you.

well, at the back of your nose, a place called nasopharynx, you have a little tube connecting it to your internal ear. SO, if you have sinusitis, that little channel can be obstructed and air will get "stuck" in your years, causins the popping sensations everytime you swallow.
