I am very stressed and I need to calm down?

I feel muddle-headed all the time, and lazy, and half-asleep. I exercise normally, and eat well. However, my homework load just shot up the scale. I usually get 9 hr of sleep -- now I get 6-7!! Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi. a lot of times i feel the same way. you can be eating right, exercising everything.. and still get stressed.
what works for me.. is stepping back.
just step back from the situation that is eating you up..
even for a couple minutes..
and reflect. on something totalllly unrelated.
then when you're ready to come back tot he situation.. come to it with power inspiration and a sense that you can do whatever you need to do with ease.. and with efficiency.
people like us.. tend to be perfectionists, we tend to overthink things.. and usually make small tasks seem very overwhelming.
to combat this.. i think of myself.. and imagine myself as someone i know who gets things done.. (this usually works for hw).. and i pretend i am them.. i see the work as smaller than it is... and i get this abundance of confidence.. from seeing myself as someone who gets things done.. and has no problem getting right down to the task.. and not taking things too seriously.. just doing the best i can.
and knowing that i will get it done.

it general though.. TEA, that is caffeine FREE is a really good way to calm down from the inside out. Also, if you're going to the gym.. keep it up.. and continue going.. on a regular basis. it really makes a difference.
whatever the problem is just remember to breath.. and think of the Big Picture. always put things in perspective.. and never ever compromise. your health, sanity, or anything else.. for the sake of one assignment, or one little stressor. just do what you know you have to do. and take it easy.

same here.
take naps and stuff and go hang out to have some fun with friends and family. listen to music, watch tv, movies, keep yourself entertained and distracted. take breaks. get a way from normal life. drink wakeupy fooods.

Ugh! I know the feeling. I try to read and put myself into many activities. Take a lavender bath. It's been scientifically proven to relax the mind!

take stress pills
