Is tai chi chinese or japanese?

Just asking...

澶瀬鎷?(t脿i j铆 qu谩n) is a form of Chinese martial art.

Chinese, I think the concept of 'Chi' is Chinese and the Japanese have a different version and call it something else.

Guessing from the name, Chinese.
