My mother-in-law has a thyroid disorder, she won't take her medication. What can happen to her if she doesn't |
She has been non compliant for years and the Dr. has told her that she will not see her again unless she takes the medication. Worse that can happen is she can die. If she has Hypothyroidism, then here are the symptoms: if its underactive she will get very tired and could lead to diabetes or eventually die, if overactive it is more complicated, why wont she take her medication, I have underactive and doc wont give me medication yet, still doing tests. Death is probable, but not at once. More probable that she will get exophthalmic goiter. she can die |
