what are normal levels of tsh t3 t4? how do i know when to worry?

It depends on what test you had. There are half a dozen tests reported as "T3" or "t4". the reference ranges for the test you had will be printed in parentheses right after your result.

And there is much confusion on the correct reference range for TSH. Doctors are notoriously ignorant about thyroid disease, and do not keep up with the latest studies, so most don't know that the correct, modern reference range for TSH is about .5 to 3. Many doctors cling to incorrect reference ranges that were calculated 50 years ago using flawed methodology. (There were many sick people in the control group.)
