What is trichomoniasis?

Trichomoniasis (aka "trich") is an infection caused a one-celled parasite called Trichomonas vaginalis. It is sexually transmitted. It's usually symptomless, especially in guys. Women can experience a greenish, foamy, smelly vaginal discharge, burning urination, pain or bleeding during sex and strawberry cervix (the cervix inflames and get red spot on it).

You can cure it with metronidazole, but you have to get that from a doctor's prescription.

If you don't cure it, trich can lead to pelvic inflammatory disease (PID).
