Re-occuring trichomoniasis?

Hey my partner and I were first treated for the std trich about a month ago it went away and about a week later right after intercourse it was back. We where both treated again and now about a week after the last treatment and NO intercourse its back. Could this be that its not trich or that my body is not accepting the antibotic? Please help me!

Since you are both being treated that would prevent the ping-pong effect. There are Flagyl resistant strains of T. vaginalis, maybe thats the problem.
