The doctor says my wife has a urinary tract infection, what causes the infection? It can be caused by dehydration (not properly emptying out the bladder) or a build up of bacteria on the inside or outside. Sometimes eating too much sugar or white flour causes bad bacteria to flourish in the intestinal tract and lead to infection. Bacteria in the urethra. That can be caused by sex. If bacteria gets into the urethra (the pee hole located right beneath the clitoris), you can get an infection. Its best for your wife to pee immediately after sex to push out any bacteria. In the past, I have heard woman say that taking baths everyday gives them UTI's, but I have never had a medical professional verify any truth to that. it can just happen. Or it could be not urinating before and after sex. It just depends. well my short time in medical school leads me to believe that you should wash your nasty thing and she might get better ask the doctor |
