Varicose Veins on the uterus? ?

I have a few questions to ask but I'll give you a bit of my families history on the female side. First off I'm only 16 but am researching some of this stuff that seems to run in the family at least on my mothers side.

Family history-
I don't know too much on my Great-Grandma or my Grandma all I know is they did hemorrhage. My first aunt didn't seem to have too much of a problem with her three pregnancies my second aunt hemorrhaged and almost lost her life. My mom I know hemorrhaged with my sister and almost died and then I wanted to come at six months putting my mom on bed rest till I came at seven and a half months. She had a c-section. If she hadn't the doctor said she would have hemorrhaged. Btw all of us kids wanted to come really early(cousins and my sister).

So my questions are-

What is a varicose vein?

Can you prevent it from forming?

Can you prevent hemorrhaging?

If so how on both questions above?

Thanks for the information. It will help a lot!

First-off, to get the best answers and facts, you should research online instead of asking the general public. But from what I have learned, varicose veins are not something you can really prevent and I believe that they can be hereditary. And I just know they're like normal veins except more extreme and near your uterus while your pregnant...

they majority of people get varicose veins at some point in their life. the veins start to weaken and bulge out of the skin. you usually find them in the legs and hands. it's hard to prevent too. as far as hemorrhaging, that's when you get cut ( or something else ) and bleed excessively. sometimes women after birth may hemorrhage and die. hard to prevent that too.
