well. the reason why its bad that men beat women is because women, whether they like it or not, are actually defenseless compared to a grown average man. they cannot do much serious damage to man unless they have a weapon at hand.

no, you are not being indifferent, you are just speaking specifically about violence against women just like you can speak specifically against violence against animals or children or whatever. Of course voilence against men is a big issue too. Some ppl just pick and choose what things they want to specifically support and spend time on cause it means something to them. For example I actively support groups that are against violent treatment of animals but have never really been involved in any other anti violence groups. ITs not because I dont support those other groups, its just because i have a liminted amount of time and energy on my hands and choose to focus on one thing that is close to my heart for whatever reason. But ofcourse I also am against violence of any kind. Violence against men by women and by other men is a big problem and if you are passionate about opposing it, then you should actively seek out to support groups that are lobbying against it at the moment

That's why I have always refused to take part in the activities for this issue or wear their ribbon. We need to change it to be inclusive. There is actually more violent act against Men but they are far less likely to report it. Violence against anyone, for any reason is a problem in need of a ribbon and a slogan.

The phrase 'Say no to violence against women' is important but not any more important than 'Say no to violence against men' or 'Say no to violence against children. I think the phrase should be 'Stop domestic abuse' Then it can cover all three categories.

Well most men don't fight with a woman. They bash herup to show her how superior they are, they expect her to be his slave.
But if they fight men on the other hand, it's merely a fight. It has nothing to do with looking down on the sex of the person.

You stole that saying from one of my answers. That slogan was a campaign in Australia due to MOST of the violence being reported was against women. The only indifference is in your small mind.

I say ' No to violence against women" and "No to violence against men" And the answer to your question would be yes if one would agree.

yeah, i think that a lot of times men are forgotten in dv cases. (and others even rape) hopefully the good fems. will help that change.
