What is the government of the Republic of Congo, doing about violence against women in their country? Virtually nothing. It is illegal of course but they have other priorities like fighting off rebels, avoiding epidemics and preventing famine. They have an unreliable administration and an army that could be fighting on the otherside at the drop of a hat. |
