Which Yoga discipline? |
I'm looking to incorporate yoga into my series of workouts. For the most part, I do tons of martial arts, MMA and Krav Maga, almost 5 days a week, and weight training three days a week. I hear a lot about yoga's health benefits and the increased flexibility you get. That's more or less what i want out of it, but I also want it to be physically a challenging workout that might help cut some of that excess fat. I head "hot" yoga is good, but there are so many out there and I have no idea which one would suit me best. Check out Diamond Dallas Page's YRG Workout at www.GreatDrills.com It is yoga based but he added in some other exercise movements from pilates and MMA. It really helps tone your body and increase your flexibility. I was at Juanito Ibarra's gym (he used to train Rampage Jackson) and learned about it from some of the MMA guys there. They sell DVD's or you can check out the online version. |
